I wish that we had eaten here instead of at Jollibee. We did buy some amazing and delicious pastries. The food in the cases looked really good.

On rainy school days , my yaya would surprise us with ginataang bilo bilo –binignit in Bisaya– ( coconut milk soup with sticky rice balls), served hot to warm us up The stars of the soup are the sticky rice balls, second by sago pearls, the coconut milk thickened with ube and taro finished with saba bananas and jackfruits . What is your favorite merienda dish?

PHILIPPINES Eat the World NYC review: No matter what time of day the steam table at this turo turo Filipino restaurant in Woodside looks quite fresh, with a selection of 20 items or so. Pick two or three with rice and a custom meal is served to you immediately. You can choose freshly cooked fish, vegetable and many different meats to make a different meal each time you swing by. These two options, bopis and dinuguan, went down well and are both recommended. Check out the full article on our website for more descriptions of the food.
